Volunteer in the bookshop
Clunes Community Bookshop is a not-for-profit community run enterprise and is staffed by volunteers.
Most volunteers work a morning or afternoon shift once or twice a month. The shift turn over is at 1 o'clock.
To join the volunteers call by the shop or phone the manager Pam Adams.
It's a lot of fun and volunteers are trained in aspects of the book industry which interest them, front of house and sales, sorting, pricing and repairing books, shelving and display.
There is a volunteer kitchen and out-door courtyard area. Volunteers are given drink vouchers to all the Booktown Bookshop events.
Books
The bookshop accepts books on consignment and donations of books. We do not stock magazines or CDs. Please contact the bookshop manager to discuss donations or consignment stock.
Please note that no stock is accepted in April as we prepare for Booktown.
All books are coded and recorded on a computer database so we can easily tell if a particular title is in stock.
Managing organisation
The bookshop is part of Creative Clunes Inc. All profits go back into community projects to support the people of Clunes. For more information about Creative Clunes Inc.
